It's no secret to anyone that I am a sucker for a solid 90's hip-hop/R'n'B remix.Well i came across one today that fits into that category. If you can make it through the intro, then this is sure to get the booties-a-shakin'. A little bit funky, a little bit electro, some added gun shots and a whole lot of Gangsta's Paradise is a winning combination.
Next up are the 5-piece outfit RESET! These crazy Italian's have given the Graffiti 6 track 'Annie You Save Me' a jackin' speed-funk makeover. These guys have been going crazy in the past year with remixes for the likes of Cassius, Alex Metric and Herve just to name a few. This is just as good as any of their previous efforts.
The Chemical Brothers new track Swoon has attracted a number of remixes both official and unofficial, but for me this one from local Gold Coast boy Blaze Tripp is the pick of the bunch. The super fast bouncy synth does things to me...
Finally Moonchild's new track, 'Girl' is one of my favourite tracks of the year.
